About SONIA MARIE KATEB BLAIR

Sonia M. Kateb Blair, president and CEO of Sonia M. Blair, Inc., in 1973 founded her firm specializing in the sale of commercial real estate, income-producing properties, and high-end homes. Blair is considered one of the industry leaders in the Miami-Dade County market, responsible for the sale of the city of Coral Gables’ most prominent office buildings and more than $700 million in real estate. Throughout her career, Blair has been featured in numerous publications including The Miami Herald and Daily Business Review, which named her “Dealmaker of the Month” many times.

For more than 35 years Blair has played an integral role in the renaissance of many areas of the “City Beautiful”. She was instrumental in continuing an ongoing transformation of the North Gables (between Ponce de Leon Boulevard and Douglas Road Northeast of Miracle Mile) and contemporary condominium development, including compatibly designed commercial space. She is one of the pioneers of “assemblage” in Coral Gables, by which she assembles blocks of adjoining properties for the development of mixed-use zoning and residential-townhome development. Currently, Blair is focusing on new Gables assemblages and office building sales as well as her contribution to the resurgence of the Florida real estate market.

Highly regarded by her exclusive clientele, Blair has worked closely with well-known TV personalities, international singers, film celebrities, and presidents of countries around the world. Blair’s clients attribute her success to her highly personalized service, tenacious negotiating skills, and extensive market knowledge paired with a profound understanding of their needs. “[Blair is] a spectacular lady and a consummate dealmaker!” said Kenneth D. Rosen, prominent real estate investor, industry expert, and author. “I know nobody who has more integrity, class, and ability than [Sonia].”
